In a little more than a year, I cycled every single block in Manhattan on a track bike. One gear, no free wheel. Often carrying my trusty film camera, I compiled in black and white my vision of New York City.

24 rolls of B&W film and countless flat tires later, the project was completed, totalling 1083 miles (1743 km). Manhattan streets are 508 miles cumulated, dividing the island into 6718 blocks (816 km).
